Maya is a member is the Class of 2028 and plans to major in molecular biology. She is from St. Petersburg, Florida and became interested in science after volunteering at a summer camp in high school. In the Mesa Lab, she will be exploring how macrophages affect the wound healing dynamics in the mouse digit tip. In her free time, she likes to run, bake, and spend time with her dog, Riley.
